National Housing Prize 2016

Consorcio ARA was awarded the National Housing Prize 2016 for its “Misión de las Flores III” housing development in the Affordable Entry-Level category, based on features like its location, urban design, densification, service feasibility, connectivity, financing, affordability and accessibility to people with disabilities.
Misión de las Flores III is located in the municipality of Solidaridad, in Playa del Carmen, Quintana Roo, with a surface area of a little over 150,000m2, where we built 1,200 vertical housing units on four levels.

Great Place To Work

In 2017, the Great Place To Work Institute Mexico certified Consorcio ARA a Great Place To Work, in the 500 to 5,000 Employees and Multinational Category. We are very proud of this achievement and are committed to continue building excellent workspaces and teams, in addition to investing in and developing our people's talents. 

Socially Responsible Company

Since 2006, Consorcio ARA has been distinguished by the Mexican Center for Philanthropy (CEMEFI) as a Socially Responsible Company, in recognition of the responsible economic, social and environmental performance maintained throughout the entire enterprise.


Pronatura México, A.C. has recognized Consorcio ARA for its support and commitment to environmental conservation in Mexico.

"Work of the year 2013" prize

ARA earned the “Project of the Year” award in the “Housing Development” category, in the 10th year of this competition, which is organized by Grupo Expansión through Obras magazine. 

The award was given to the Dream Lagoons Foresta project, located in Metepec, Mexico State. The jury was made up of 17 recognized experts in the field of design and construction, and the project was selected from a total of 156 submissions.

National Housing Prize 2011

Consorcio ARA was awarded the National Housing Prize 2011 in the Sustainable Urban Development category. The award-winning project was Integrara Iztacalco, and the prize was given on the basis of urban integration, design, construction, and the efficient use of natural resources, as well as its environmentally friendly and handicap-accessible features.

Hombre de la Casa 2007

Thanks to his 30-year trajectory as head of Consorcio ARA, Germán Ahumada Russek is known as “El hombre de la casa”--The Man of the House-- because his vision, experience, and contributions have proved crucial to the development of Mexico’s housing industry.
